Community Center Program
Our mission is to establish a therapeutic community center program within California institutions that focuses on leadership education, treatment, community building, and reentry preparation. The program is designed to foster self-worth, intellectual growth, purpose, and direction among participants.
Our program uses the therapeutic community approach. This method encourages individuals to take responsibility for their personal growth while building supportive relationships within the community. The approach helps instill a strong sense of purpose and self-worth, which are essential for long-term sobriety and successful reintegration into society.
The Community Center Program encourages active participation and provides a structured support system for residents. Participants are challenged to think creatively, take accountability for their actions, and grow through mentorship and leadership opportunities.
The program also trains experienced participants to serve as mentors who help guide younger residents and hold them accountable for their behavior in a supportive and constructive manner rather than a punitive one.
By focusing on rehabilitation, leadership development, and pro-social behavior, the program promotes lasting personal transformation. These efforts ultimately contribute to safer institutions and stronger communities.
