Youth Mentoring Program
Involving incarcerated individuals in mentoring struggling, at-risk youth while in prison provides significant and multifaceted benefits for both the youth mentees and the incarcerated mentors. These men and women are known as credible messengers. This initiative leverages their lived experiences to provide authentic, high-impact guidance that helps break cycles of criminal behavior.
The purpose of our youth program is to foster positive development, safety, and empowerment, transforming young people into resilient and capable adults.
Our mission focuses on building life skills, confidence, and character while preventing high-risk behavior and encouraging community involvement.
In addition to mentorship from incarcerated mentors, we also provide case management, group therapy, and one-on-one counseling through registered and certified substance use disorder counselors.
